The penguin means Linux on the back-end. Worldwide, the Linux operating system has become synonymous with reliability and security. Both BitLeap’s managed customer server products and our back-end network management and file storage devices all run on Linux. This provides our customers with the most proficient technical architecture available today. LeapServ Shelf

BitLeap’s rack-mountable version of the LeapServ features high-quality enterprise level server hardware. These servers come with single or dual Intel® or AMD® processors capable of powering both BitLeap’s offsite backup service and FlexTunnel VPN connections, as well as many other third party applications that you may wish to run on your LeapServ.

  • Maintenance of OS & BitLeap software
  • Installation of new software versions
  • Security patch updates
  • Hardware health monitoring
  • Processor load monitoring
  • Bandwidth usage monitoring
